Many people these days opt to have the larger wrought iron estate gates automated.
There are a wide variety of kits available, from a wide variety of sources.
We as a company at this time have taken the decision not to supply automation kits with our gates for the following reasons:
1. Although you can purchase some DIY kits, these are not always easy to install and the quality is not always as good.
2. It is difficult to find an automation specialist that will install an automation kit that they have not supplied.
We therefore suggest that if you would like your gates automated that you contact a specialist.
You will find the names of some specialists on our links page, and often these companies are more than happy to take on the whole job. They will order the gate from us for you, measure up and install your gates and automate them. Thus taking the hassle out of having to use two different companies.
All our gates can be modified to be suitable for automation. For above ground operators often no additional work is required in the fabrication process of your gate.
For underground operators, some additional work is required. We are more than happy to discuss a price for this additional work on the basis of the kit you intend to use. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
